Considered fire safety is vital to business owners to help prevent risk to life, goods and property. Warehouses and factory spaces that have conveyor systems that pass through walls pose a significant threat to fire management and require a specialist solution - conveyor fire protection systems from Stöbich!
Specialists in fire protection…
Stöbich, an industry leader in fire protection systems, offers a versatile product that can be adapted to suit a wide range of applications. In the event of a fire, conveyor fire protection systems close openings, helping prevent the spread of fire through conveyers. These systems integrate with conveyor and fire systems, automatically engaging and with systems to ensure closing zones are clear of conveyor traffic.
Achieves integrity and insulation...
Where you might ordinarily see a steel fire shutter, which provides no insulation and can lead to high non-fire side temperatures and potential ignition. Stöbich solutions are insulated, protecting the non-fire compartment and mitigating against ignition.
Adaptable to suit any requirement…
Rolling, sliding or folding down over the opening, different levels of fire protection, classifications and time classes are achieved through the application of different materials and fabrics across the products in the range.
The Stöbich range of products is supplied in partnership with STÖBICH Brandschutz GmbH.
The Stöbich GCC conveyor fire protection system is a single-leaf design, vertically or horizontally closing the wall opening of web-bound conveyer systems. Applicable for both separated and unseparated conveyor technology in the closing area.
The Stöbich ECClos®-S sheet metal damper conveyor fire protection system is suitable for interrupted and continuous conveyor systems (belt, roller and suspension chain conveyors). For easy application, the ECClos®-S uses variable fixed panels made up of a robust sandwich construction with sheet metal casing on all sides – a design feature that ensures the ECClos®-S is adaptable to meet unique fire protection requirements. Segmented construction enables easy transportation to site.
Requiring minimal lintel space, the Stöbich ECClos®-Q conveyor fire protection system is a great choice for conventional closures such as continuous and separate conveyor systems (baggage belt conveyors etc…). Enclosed by in a sheet metal casing, the ECClos®-Q’s damper blade features a sandwich construction for stability. The fixed panel is easily customised and can be designed to your specific requirements.
The Stöbich ECClos®-K fire protection system uses a combination of gates and collars to provide a safe shielding solution for circular and power & free conveyor systems - the ECClos®-K conveyor fire protection system is also suitable for the passage of several conveyor lines. The ECClos®-K applies intumescent collars to shield the conveyors alongside the dampers' sturdy sandwich design which is completely enclosed by sheet metal.
The Stöbich ECClos®-D double-leaf, swing door conveyor fire protection system is suitable for continuous belt conveyors, roller conveyors and suspension chain conveyors, but is typically used for electrical overhead tracks, circular conveyors and power & free systems. The ECClos®-D is made up of two integrated, semi-circular collars which encase the rails passing through, sealing them off (thermal separation of the rail is not required).
As a textile roller shutter, ECClos-FLEX is characterised by its small space requirement. It is designed for continuous and separate conveyor systems such as belt, roller and overhead chain conveyors.
The Stöbich Ecotube conveyor fire protection system pipe shield is suitable for both positive and negative pressures as well as a variety of conveyed goods (e.g. cardboard or paper strips etc…). Unlike conventional protection damper designs, the Ecotube is not permanently exposed to the flow of the conveyor. Instead, the casing pipe segment is pushed out to make room for the shield damper - this avoids friction or coiling of the element.
The Stöbich BR 100 high-speed conveyor fire protection system termination is applicable for both uninterrupted and interrupted conveyor routes.
