SECURING A SWISS WATCH REPAIR CENTRE

We recently attended a swiss watch repair centre that was seeking to upgrade its security provisions with a window grille installation. As a location with a large number of swiss watches, parts, and specialist machinery, excellent security is paramount to protect their valuable goods.

Our window grilles are made of galvanised steel which is an incredibly strong and durable material, providing an effective deterrent to any would be criminals. They are certified to LPS 1175 burglary resistant from the Loss Prevention Certification Board. The LPS 1175 standard is recognised and endorsed by 16 organisations including the Association of British Insurers and the Association of Chief Police Officers. As you can see in the image below, we also installed a shutter at this location to elevate the security in a key area of their location.

However shutters weren’t suitable for every window, as security wasn’t the only consideration for this location. Our SWS window grilles integrate as seamlessly as possible to their application. Fitted to the door or window surround, when folded away they can disappear neatly behind curtains or blinds. And when closed, they still let in a lot of light and allow the windows to be opened for ventilation. Our SeceuroGuard retractable grilles are also exceptionally safe and easy to handle with a smooth, quiet operation.

We also installed secondary glazing at this location, providing heat and sound insulation in a cost effective way. The addition of secondary single glazed windows is also less obtrusive than replacing existing windows with new double glazed configurations.
