Pros and Cons of Window Grilles

Pros

• Although they don’t cover the entirety of a window, having a grille put in place is a permanent form of security that can prevent unauthorised access. After all, a window that is unmanned is very easily smashed and a window grille makes is very difficult to do this.
• Intruders often look for an easy way in and a window grille offers a defence against this. After all, they cannot be manipulated or removed without making a great deal of noise or attracting unwanted attention. Due to this, people tend to move on and look for a better target.

Cons

• As a window grille is secured to the exterior of a building they can be viewed as a bit of an eyesore for some people and due to this many people tend to avoid having them installed. With this said, there are now many designs that are more modern or attractive available on the market.
